If you cannot bind your controller to the receiver in the drone, first thing to check is to make sure that the proper receiver is installed in the drone. If you have an Frsky controller, then you must use a receiver that uses Frsky rc protocol (accst d8/d16, access etc) in order for them to communicate with each other.

.

Next make sure the receiver is getting power, you should see leds lit up to indicate that there is power and then verify the proper voltage is present with a digital volt meter (most receivers use 5v for power so you want to see a steady voltage reading, always verify the manufacturers input voltage). If the power is good and the rx type is good then make sure you've followed the binding procedure properly set out by the manufacturer as some follow a specific sequence in order for the bind to work (example, Spektrum controllers must be a few feet or more away from the receiver in order for it to bind or Frsky xm+ must power press the bind button while powering on the drone not after).

.

Lastly, make sure the controller is set to the correct rx setting. Most controllers will allow you to change the protocol for various types of receivers within that brand (frsky-d8/d16, spektrum-dsmx/dsm2, futaba- fshss/fasst etc). If you still can't figure it out, contact us directly as there could be a hardware defect or something else going on with the setup.
